Stolen Tequila

Police say an 18-year-old Colgate woman and 20-year-old Milwaukee man were arrested last Saturday after reportedly stealing a bottle of Tequila valued at $27.99. Both parties taken into custody had previous arrest warrants issued by the Germantown Police Department.
Car vs. Tree

4500 block of N. Woodburn St.
Police responded to the area near the 4500 block of N. Woodburn Ave. and E. Kensington Blvd. at the request of Shorewood Police on a report of a car vs. tree accident. The vehicle was found unoccupied in traffic with the driver reportedly found in front of a nearby residence. The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of drunk driving.
Possible Thief Looking for a Key
May 10
5700 block of North Shore Drive.
A caller reported that sometime on May 10, there was evidence that an unknown person was attempting to find a hidden key. The caller stated that this is the second time this has happened in the last 10 days and that last time the front door mat had been thrown aside.
Expensive Purse Stolen
May 12
5400 block of Danbury Road
A caller reported that a package had been stolen from the front porch and confirmed with authorities that a FedEx package containing a $2,000 purse had been stolen. An area check of the package turned up no results.
Man Confronts Landscape Worker
May 13
700 block of Lexington Blvd.
Police say a 68-year-old Whitefish Bay man has been issued a citation for disorderly conduct after reportedly pushing a landscaping worker over a contract dispute.
Coyotes Too Close to Home
May 14
6000 block of North Shore Drive
Police responded to a home on the 6000 block of North Shore Drive on a report that a pack of coyotes brought down a deer in the neighborhood. The caller indicated they were concered for the safety of his family based on how close the coyotes and deer carcass were to the house. The deer carcass was removed from the area and thrown down the bluff to allow the coyotes to finish off the deer.
Drunk Driving
May 14
5500 block of Lake Drive
Police stopped a red Jeep for operating left-of-center on the 5100 block of North Lake Drive. The driver was taken into custody for operating while intoxicated and was transported to the Whitefish Bay Police Department. An intoximeter test resulted in a .12 BAC.
