Police Blotter: ​Funds Stolen from Rabbis' Group; Burglary on Santa Monica Blvd.

Here are two notable police calls from the Whitefish Bay Police Department over the last week.

Funds Stolen from Rabbis' Group

A Whitefish Bay resident walked into the Whitefish Bay police department on Nov. 11 to report that the Wisconsin Counsel of Rabbis had a previous treasurer steal approximately $1,900 from the organization's account.
Police consulted with the Counsel member, stating that there was nothing to indicate the incident occurred in Whitefish Bay and that the Counsel member would have to contact the bank to see which branch the transactions were made at.

Burglary on Santa Monica Blvd.

Whitefish Bay police officers responded to 4810 N. Santa Monica Blvd. at an apartment unit for a report of a burglary on Nov. 8. The resident stated that sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 9:20 p.m. forced entry was made to the private rear entrance of the door to the apartment. A Bose Bluetooth speaker, 3 gold necklaces, 1 gold bracelet, 10 unopened designer perfume boxes and cash were stolen. A fellow resident of the apartment reported seeing a suspicious white Buick Century occupied by two men parked behind the apartment at approximately 1 p.m.
