Police Calls for July 21-22: Speeding Violation Turns into OWI; Dog At Large Turns into OWI; Dine and Dash

July 21

Speeding Violation Turns into OWI
An 18 year old Milwaukee man stopped for speed (60 mph in a 25 mph zone) on the 100 block of E. Hampton Rd. and was taken into custody on suspicion of OWI-Drugs. Authorities are currently waiting on blood results.

Tracking Down Suspect
Police responded to the area of W. Hampton Ave. and I-43 to assist Glendale Police with a subject who fled police, crashed his car into trees and fled on foot towards the river. Officers took Jordan J. Cain into custody in the woods just south of the river near I-43.

Dine And Dash
The Owner of the Fox Cinema Grill told police that a suspect named Chad J. Tessmer bought walked out of the restaurant without paying his food bill of $27.05 without paying. The owner wants Tessmer to pay the check balance and apologize.

Dog At Large Turns into OWI
A community service officer was contacted by a resident on the 150 block of E. Birch St. on a report of a tan hound-mix dog at large.
Police scanned the dog for a microchip which revealed the dog's owner was issued a citation for a dog at large, due to the fact that police say this was the third time police had picked up her dog within the last few months.
The dog was transported to MADDAC in order for its owner to pick up the dog at a later date.
The Whitefish Bay woman, 67, who had driven to the station was reportedly taken into custody on OWI-1st after police say she was highly intoxicated.
