Police Calls for July 23: Brake Light turns into OWI; Vehicle Break-In; Golf Clubs Stolen; OWI

Brake Light turns into OWI
A 24 year old Whitefish Bay woman was taken into custody for OWI on the 600 block of E. Henry Clay St. after police conducted a traffic stop for a defective brake light.

Vehicle Break-In
Police responded to the Holy Family Parish School on a report of a vehicle break-in. The rear driver's side window of a Chevy Cruze was broken, and the head of a rubber mallet was found on the ground nearby. Damage estimated to be $500.00

Golf Clubs Stolen
An unlocked vehicle was entered, and golf clubs and other items valued at $215.00 were reportedly stolen.

Drunk Driver Arrested
A 34 year old Shorewood man was arrested after the driver reportedly hit multiple curbs, drove on the wrong side of the road and failed to stop at a stop sign near the intersection of E. Henry Clay St. and N. Bay Ridge Ave. in Whitefish Bay. The driver was arrested on OWI-1st. The man's father took possession of the green BMW and the dog that was inside.
