Police: Mom Stabs Dad With Scissors, Flees

A 37 year old Whitefish Bay woman faces charges after police say she reportedly stabbed their daughter's father with a scissors.

WHITEFISH BAY - A 37 year old Whitefish Bay woman faces charges after police say she reportedly stabbed their daughter's father with a scissors.

According to the official report from the Whitefish Bay police department, a woman called police saying her mother stabbed her father with a scissors on Sunday night on the 500 block of E. Henry Clay St.

Police say a physical altercation between the mother and father took place over an unknown issue and at one point, the mother stabbed the father twice in the left leg with a scissors and then fled the scene.

The man refused medical attention, and the mother was eventually taken into custody about an hour later at Kaul's on Silver Spring and conveyed to the Whitefish Bay Police Station.

She requested medical attention and was conveyed to the Aurora Sinai Hospital by the North Shore Fire Department, police records show.

Her case was ordered to the District Attorney's office for Tuesday, June 7.
