Police Recover Whitefish Bay Man's Stolen Vehicle: Report

Police say the vehicle was eventually found in the rear driveway of an abandoned home in Milwaukee.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI -- Police in Whitefish Bay say they've been requested to conduct additional patrol checks on N. Sheffield Ave. after a report of a car theft on the morning of March 31.

According to Whitefish Bay police reports, officers were called to the area just before 8 a.m. on March 31 on a report that a 2017 black Lincoln MKZ was stolen from the driveway of the home sometime between 5:50 a.m. and 8 a.m.

Police say the vehicle was eventually found in the rear driveway of an abandoned home on the 3500 block of N. 21st Street in Milwaukee.

The vehicle was returned to the owner, police said. Police said the owner of the Lincoln MKZ requested extra police checks in the area, because house keys that were present in the car at the time of the theft were not located.
