Police Report: A Smelly Prank, Trespassing and More

The latest reports from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

Something stinks for a resident on the 5100 block of Shoreland Avenue in Whitefish Bay.

She called police 1:24 p.m. Dec. 5 to report someone has been placing bags of dog feces next to a "Recall Walker" sign on her lawn. The incidents seem to happen after dark.

Police are increasing their watch around the residence.

In other police news:

  • Well, now he has a place to stay: A teacher at called police on Saturday after finding a 25-year-old Michigan man inside the school after hours. The man told the teacher he needed a place to stay, but later left the high school on a bike. Police caught up with the man and took him into custody. He was cited for trespassing and later released.
  • Missing a set of wheels? A woman called police on Tuesday when she found a women's bicycle leaning against her fence next to the alley behind her home on the 4600 block of Morris Street. Police picked up a blue and silver 21 speed specialized Expedition bicycle and took it to the station. It is waiting to be claimed.
