Police Say Whitefish Bay Fence Damage Caused By Children

Police in Whitefish Bay are advising the public to talk with their children after a rash of damaged fences.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Police in Whitefish Bay are advising the public to talk with their children after a rash of damaged fences.

According to Whitefish Bay police, from Nov. 5 through Nov. 19, the Whitefish Bay Police Department has taken seven reports from residents of sections of fences being damaged.

Police are reporting that some sections were tore down, and one had graffiti written on it. Police say these types of incidents are usually committed by middle school and high school-age children. Police are advising area parents to "please speak with your children regarding damaging others property."
