Police Searching for Suspected Car Thieves
Caller reported their car window had been smashed in. It resulted in a police chase and the suspects eluded authorities on foot.
WHITEFISH BAY - Police are looking for suspected car thieves after an incident over the Memorial Day weekend in which police say they stole a van, and may have targeted another vehicle in the village.
Police responded to the 500 block of E. Henry Clay on a report of a man smashing the window on the caller's vehicle. The suspect fled the area, heading north in the alley in a black Dodge van with a female driver.
Glendale Police attempted to stop the van near N. Lydell and W. Lexington and started a pursuit that ended in the area of N. 53rd and Silver Spring where all occupants of the van fled on foot.

Upon investigation, police learned the van had been stolen.
Police are continuing to investigate, and none of the suspects have been taken into custody at this time.
