Police Set Up Perimeter After Vehicle Entry Case on Sheffield

WHITEFISH BAY -- A concerned citizen told police he saw a male wearing a black long sleeve shirt enter a vehicle and run south on the 4700 block of N. Sheffield Ave.

While checking the area for suspects related to the incident, officers attempted to make contact with a female wearing red and a male wearing black clothing who were standing next to a parked vehicle near the scene.

Upon attempting to make contact with the two, the individuals walked briskly into their yard.

Mutual aid was requested from Shorewood and Glendale police to assist in setting up a perimeter.

According to the report, the resident who initially avoided contact with police said the entered vehicle belonged to his girlfriend and the two brisky went inside, because they were drinking and didn't want to have contact with police.
