Runners Threatened With Robbery by Men Armed with Machete, Baseball Bats
A group of runners got a big scare in Whitefish Bay last week when a group of Milwaukee teens threatened them with robbery.

WHITEFISH BAY -- A group of runners got a big scare in Whitefish Bay last week when a group of Milwaukee teens threatened them with robbery.
Fortunately for these citizens, Whitefish Bay police were able to locate the suspects, but not before they found a startling collection of weapons.
According to the report, Whitefish Bay police responded to the incident on Oct. 7 just after 6 a.m. on the 500 block of E. Carlisle Ave.

Police were told the the occupants of a silver Honda Civic stopped the group and asked them if they had ever been robbed, and whether they would like to be robbed.
Officers located the unoccupied vehicle a short distance away, where they found a machete and two baseball bats located in plain view.

The vehicle's registered owner and a second suspect were located in the 700 block of E. Day Ave. and transported to the Shorewood Police department for booking.
