So Not Worth It: Cops Nab Thieves Suspected of $200 Candy, Red Bull Theft

A simple retail theft at CVS that netted two suspects $200 in Red Bull and candy also landed them, and their getaway driver, in hot water.

WHITEFISH BAY - A simple retail theft at CVS that netted two suspects $200 in Red Bull and candy also landed them, and their getaway driver, an awful lot of trouble once police caught up with them.

According to the report, two 17 year old Milwaukee men arrested for Retail theft. $207.45 worth of candy and Red Bull from the CVS at 240 E. Hampton Rd. on May 31.

The two subjects depicted in CVS surveillance video were subsequently arrested across the street behind the Dairy Queen by Whitefish Bay police.

A third subject, also 17, acting as the getaway driver, was arrested after fleeing the area. According to the report, the driver fled in a stolen Mercury Mountaineer and abandoned the vehicle on the 100 block of E. Day. He was arrested on the 5700 block of Shoreland after Whitefish Bay and Glendale officers chased him down.

That man, 17, Milwaukee, was arrested for Operating Motor Vehicle without owners consent, Obstructing/Resisting arrest, and Possession of THC (5.6 grams).
