Stolen Car Suspect Arrested After Police Chase Him Down: Report
Officers say they found a stolen Nissan pickup truck abandoned in the front yard of a home on the 5000 block of N. Idlewild Ave.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Police in Whitefish Bay say they've arrested a 35-year-old from Babcock, Wis. after a neighbor in the 5000 block of N. Idlewild Ave. reported a suspicious person in his backyard.
According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, officers found a stolen Nissan pickup truck abandoned in the front yard of a home on the 5000 block of N. Idlewild Ave. just before 9 p.m. on July 14.
Police say as they spoke with residents over the matter, one resident reported seeing a suspicious person in his backyard.

Police said that officers found the person in the backyard, and chased him until he was arrested in the 600 block of E. Henry Clay Street.
According to police call logs, police found the keys to the stolen Nissan pickup truck in the 35-year-old's pocket at the time of his arrest. Police also learned the 35-year-old had an arrest warrant out in Wauwatosa for burglary.

Police said he was arrested on suspicion of driving a stolen car and carrying a concealed knife.
