Swim Instructor Accused Of Inappropriately Touching 4-Year-Old
Authorities say a swim instructor working at a Glendale club inappropriately touched a 4-year-old girl during swim lessons.
GLENDALE, WI — A swim instructor who worked at a North Shore sports club faces up to 40 years behind bars after authorities say she's the person responsible for inappropriately touching a 4-year-old girl as her instructor during a swim class.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Milwaukee County, a 4-year-old girl who was taking swim lessons at the Elite Sports Club-River Glen told her mother that her swim instructor had tickled her "private" part under her swim lessons in November 2018.
That swim instructor, identified by authorities as Brianne Taylor, 35, of Milwaukee, was arrested and charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child as well as obstructing an officer.

Taylor faces up to 40 years behind bars and up to 40 years probation if she is convicted of the maximum penalties allowable under state law.
According to the criminal complaint, the four-year-old told investigators that the tickling incident happened while that part of her body was underwater, and that she told the four-year-old that she didn't want people to know about the touching.

Investigators assigned to the case say that Taylor was previously accused of inappropriate touching during a swim lesson in Madison that was documented in a Madison Police report.
Investigators say they also learned that Taylor lost previous instructor jobs because of violating personal space “boundary issues." When a detective interviewed Taylor and asked her about her previous employment, the investigator said she lied to authorities about ever being fired or disciplined for inappropriate touching, according to the criminal complaint.
