Tail Light Turns into Drug Bust; Assault Suspect Arrested; After Hours; Drunk Man Yelling

July 29
Tail Light Turns into Drug Bust
Police initiated a traffic stop for a defective tail light near the intersection of E. Hampton Rd. and N. Wildwood Ave. The driver was a 19 year old Milwaukee man, who was taken into custody for OWI-1st offense, Possession of THC, and possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The passenger was also a 19 year old Milwaukee man, who was taken into custody for possession of THC and a confirmed warrant through the Brown Deer Police Department. 14.2 grams marijuana and a scale were recovered.
Assault Suspect Arrested
A 31 year old Milwaukee man was arrested on a domestic violence-battery charge after police learned that the man punched a female in the face while driving on the 5600 block of N. Lake Drive. According to the report, the female jumped out of the moving vehicle because she feared for her safety. Neither person spoke English.

After Hours
A 31 year old Milwaukee man and 34 year old Milwaukee woman were cited for violation of park hours and were warned for loitering at Klode Park just after midnight on July 30.

Drunk Man Yelling
Officers responded to the 300 block of E. Silver Spring drive on a report of a white male adult who was heavily intoxicated, yelling and swearing at people as they passed by.
The man was moved along.
