Traffic Stop Leads to Drug, Weapons Charges for Whitefish Bay Man
A 20-year-old Whitefish Bay resident was arrested after a traffic stop led to drug and weapons charges.

WHITEFISH BAY -- A 20-year-old Whitefish Bay resident was arrested after a traffic stop led to drug and weapons charges.
According to Whitefish Bay police, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a black Mercedes just after 1 a.m. on Oct. 29 on the 5300 block of Idlewild Ave. on a speeding violation.
When the officer made contact with the driver, the officer noted the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle's cabin.

Upon searching the vehicle, the officer found a loaded Glock 21 firearm laying on the front passenger seat as well as a bag containing 4.7 grams of marijuana.
The man, Jonathan Stern, was taken into custody for possession of THC and carrying a concealed weapon and transported to the Whitefish Bay police department for booking.
