An investigation revealed that Williams was traveling east on Vista Way when a Volkswagen Jetta failed to yield and turned left in front of him, toward the entrance to the Target shopping center, according to police and the ME's office.
Williams was unable to avoid colliding with the car.
Witnesses of the crash called 911, and Williams was rushed by paramedics to nearby Tri-City Medical Center.
"Despite aggressive medical intervention, death was pronounced shortly upon arrival," the ME's office stated.
After Williams graduated from Brown Deer High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. Williams’ visitation and funeral will be held on Saturday, October 1 in Brookfield.
