Whitefish Bay's State Soccer Hopes Dashed in Overtime

Brookfield East won the sectional final by defeating Whitefish Bay in a shoot out after two overtime periods.

After two overtime periods with a tied score of 2-2, Saturday night's Division I sectional finals came down to a penalty kick shootout between Brookfield East and Whitefish Bay.

Brookfield East won the penalty kick shootout 4-2, sending Brookfield East to its third consecutive WIAA state tournament.
