Woman Arrested After Early-Morning Police Chase: Report

Police say a vehicle fled west on Silver Spring Drive and that the police pursuit was terminated at 10th St. and Albert.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Police in Whitefish Bay say a 30-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested after a police chase in the village.

According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, an officer on patrol near E. Silver Spring Drive and N. Bay Ridge Ave. initiated a traffic stop after seeing a suspicious vehicle driving near Klode Park just before 2 a.m. on May 20.

Police say the vehicle fled west on Silver Spring Drive and that the police pursuit was terminated at 10th St. and Albert. Police said the vehicle was found by officers abandoned at 10th and Nash.

According to police, the woman, who was found to be a passenger in the vehicle, was located in a nearby yard. Police say she was taken into custody for providing police with false identification, possessing open intoxicants and resisting arrest.

The vehicle was towed by the city, police said.
