• October Senior Dining Meal Program (gazettextra.com) — Wittenberg seniors can get hot lunches every Wednesday through Shawano County's dining program, with a dedicated phone line for local reservations. The October menu ranges from chili and spaghetti to turkey pot pie and bacon cheeseburger soup, and meals are also served on set days in nearby Bowler, Birnamwood, Tigerton, and Shawano.
