• Natrona County health and food inspections (8/21/26–8/27/26) (oilcity.news) — Casper and Natrona County residents can now see how local restaurants, hotels, gas stations, and child care kitchens fared in unannounced health inspections from Aug. 21–27. The Casper-Natrona County Health Department explains that violations must be corrected quickly and don't automatically mean a business is unsafe, while listing which locations need reinspections and what specific problems were found.
   

• Natrona County recent applications for marriage (8/19/26-8/25/26) (oilcity.news) — If you've been wondering who's tying the knot locally, Natrona County's latest list of marriage license applications from Aug. 19–25 is out, reported from Casper. The roundup congratulates each couple by name and notes it may not capture every upcoming wedding in the county.
   

• What The Heck ... Is A 48-Foot, 8,100-Pound Eagle Doing In Mills, Wyoming? (cowboystatedaily.com) — A towering 48-foot steel eagle now looms over Eagle Park in Mills, just west of Casper, becoming a major point of pride and roadside landmark for locals and travelers. Casper businessman Rick Bonander led the effort to bring and later repair the 8,100‑pound sculpture, which survived high winds, extensive reinforcement, and a temporary grounding before returning to its perch above Wyoming Boulevard.
