Broccoli product sold nationwide recalled, FDA reports (abc27.com) — A Casper-based company, EAK Distribution, has recalled its Home Grown Green Sprouting Calabrese Broccoli Seeds (8oz, Heirloom) over possible Salmonella contamination. Sold nationwide on Amazon from August 20 to September 18, 2026, the seeds should be thrown away, and customers can request a full refund through Amazon; no related illnesses have been reported so far.
5. GIRLS SWIMMING: Central wins two duals in Laramie (wyomingnews.com) — High school swimmers from across Wyoming, including Kelly Walsh and Natrona County, faced off in the Casper Quadrangular on Friday, with Cheyenne East placing third and several athletes posting strong times. Earlier in Laramie, Cheyenne Central dominated a triangular meet against Laramie and Green River, racking up multiple relay and individual wins.
