Local residents, especially those who are blind or visually impaired, are invited to hear his message about teamwork, trust, and resilience in the face of crisis.

Wyo. unveils new $7.5M state helibase for wildfire fleet (firerescue1.com) β A new $7.5 million state helibase in Casper will soon replace Wyoming forestry's aging Glenrock-area facility, giving wildfire crews better housing, a protective hangar, and faster access to fuel. Although helicopters have just moved into the hangar, officials say the base will fully support missions starting next fire season, strengthening statewide response from right here in Casper.

Broccoli seeds purchased online nationwide recalled over potential salmonella contamination (wbal.com) β A Casper-based company, EAK Distribution, has recalled certain eight-ounce pouches of Home Grown Green Sprouting Calabrese Broccoli Seeds sold on Amazon because they may be linked to a multistate salmonella outbreak. If you bought these seeds between Aug. 20 and Sept. 18, you're urged to throw them away and request a refund through Amazon.
