Cheyenne mom charged with felony child abuse for neglecting premature son (capcity.news) — A young Cheyenne mother has been charged in Laramie County District Court with felony child abuse, accused of neglecting critical medical care for her premature son. Doctors in Colorado and at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center reported severe malnutrition and missed follow-ups, though she remains presumed innocent while the case moves toward an initial court appearance.
4. Slow-Speed Chase Starts On Cheyenne Golf Course, Ends With Arrest Of Armed Felon (cowboystatedaily.com) — Cheyenne residents watched a slow-moving police chase Monday evening as officers followed a pickup that started on the Cheyenne Country Club golf course and wound through city streets. Police say the driver, a Colorado man, eventually stopped near West 25th and Pioneer, allegedly fought officers, and was jailed on 10 charges, including felon in possession of a firearm.
5. Panel discussion on restorative justice set Wednesday at St. Mark's (wyomingnews.com) — Residents can join a free panel on restorative justice tonight from 5–6:30 p.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Central Avenue in Cheyenne. A University of Wyoming professor and three formerly incarcerated speakers will discuss accountability, repairing harm, and safer communities, offering personal stories of life after prison and faith.
