• AROUND WYOMING: Fatal Crashes, Natural Gas Leak and Car Break-Ins! (yourwyominglink.com) — Riverton residents are being warned after a series of overnight car break-ins between West Main Street and Adams, where thieves stole firearms and valuables from unlocked vehicles. The report also details a fatal rollover near town and a natural gas leak in the West Monroe area that prompted temporary evacuations before crews safely repaired the line.
• Last-minute deal saves Fremont County EMS (wyomingnews.com) — Fremont County commissioners have approved a last-minute, two-year extension with Priority/Frontier Ambulance, keeping EMS service funded while long-term plans are finalized, a move closely watched in Riverton. Riverton Mayor Tim Hancock, as FCAG chair, pushed to ensure the contract still allows ambulance authority to transfer to a new public system next July, backed by federal Rural Health Transformation funds.
• County 10 Law Enforcement Log: Fremont County Sheriff's Office – Sept. 30, 2026 (county10.com) — Fremont County's latest law enforcement log shows a Riverton resident booked for probation violation, alongside other recent arrests. Over the past 24 hours, dispatch handled dozens of calls, multiple ambulance runs, and fire responses, with 7 people booked into the detention center and more than 130 inmates currently in county custody.
