Morning Earthquake Rattles Southern California, Felt in Multiple Counties and Mexico
The temblor was reported Thursday morning.

Brawley, CA— A magnitude 3.8 earthquake struck near Brawley in Imperial County early Friday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. The temblor was reported around just before 5:55 a.m.
The quake hit about 85 miles outside of Palm Springs and about 9 miles from El Centro. The quake was felt in Mexico and residents as far away as Alpine in San Diego County and Rancho Cucamonga in San Bernardino County reported feeling the temblor.
No injuries were reported as a result of the quake.
