The pair allegedly conspired to carry out the June 20 robbery at a Carlsbad apartment, entering the apartment by removing a window screen.

Carlsbad, CA — Two men were behind bars Tuesday for allegedly conspiring to carry out an armed robbery June 20 at a Carlsbad apartment, police said.

The night of the alleged robbery, the victim reported being awakened by a man who had removed a window screen and climbed through the living room window. He told police that when he confronted the intruder, the suspect threatened him with a handgun, demanding cash and cellphones.
