'People's Choice' Online Voting for Favorite Sandcastle
Visitors to choose favorite sculpture from noon to 3 p.m. on July 16 at the Sun & Sea Festival
Imperial Beach, CA — On Saturday, July 16 from noon until 3 p.m., visitors can vote for their favorite sand sculpture either online or via paper ballot for the People’s Choice award. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at 4 p.m. on the Pier Plaza Main Stage.
ONLINE: Voting will take place by accessing the Sunandseafestival.com website via a smartphone. Once on the website, access the ‘People’s Choice’ button from the main page and choose your favorite teams in two categories: professional/masters teams and family/business teams. Look for your favorite sculpture or team. Two votes only are permitted per smart phone. A running tally, in real time, will be available online.
PAPER BALLOTS: Visitors can pick up the paper ballot from the I.B. Women’s Club and Information Center booths. Voting will take place from noon to 3 p.m. You will be allowed two votes.
