Five Children, Two Adults Displaced in Wildomar House Fire
Fire officials say the blaze broke out Thursday afternoon.

WILDOMAR, CA – A family of seven has been displaced in a Wildomar fire, officials report.
According to April Newman of the Riverside County Fire Department, the incident was reported at 2:04 p.m. in the 21000 block of Amethyst Road.
"The first arriving engine company reported smoke showing and requested additional resources to the incident," Newman said.

Though crews were able to contain the fire by 2:30 p.m., the house was left uninhabitable and the American Red Cross was called out to help the family, according to Newman.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Last week, a separate fire in Wildomar left a woman and her cat homeless.
