HGTV Not Cancelling 'Flip or Flop,' Network Says
Tarek and Christina's marriage may have flopped, but the show is getting more attention than ever before, according to HGTV.

YORBA LINDA, CA — Is "Flip or Flop" cancelled? Though the rumor mill is circling news that "Flip or Flop" is going off the air, HGTV says otherwise. "Flip or Flop" will not be cancelled following the separation of hosts Tarek and Christina El Moussa, a network spokesperson said.
In a relayed statement from HGTV, the network will continue its ongoing support of the pair while their personal lives are in turmoil.
"We admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina's great work on Flip or Flop," HGTV representatives said.

"Selling Summer" aired after Tarek El Moussa left their Yorba Linda home, armed with a rifle to "blow off some steam," Orange County Sheriff's Department officers said.
Contract Renewal?
Though the couple have assured that they would continue filming "Flip or Flop" after separating months ago, E! News reports that an insider said the show would be contractually through after 2017, and once contractual obligations have been satisfied, "the show will end after that."
As for their separation, the El Moussas said their children are the most important thing, according to a statement released to media outlets.
"During the process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be," El Moussa's said in a statement released to People. "We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively and plan to continue our professional life together."
The couple are reportedly each seeing other people, according to media sources. Fox News TV stated that Tarek El Moussa is seeing the 23-year-old Alyssa Logan, former nanny of the couple's two children. Other reports claim Christina El Moussa has been dating a former contractor the pair had worked with on the show.
"When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children," HGTV said.
Tarek and Christina El Moussa married in 2009 and have two children: 1-year-old son Brayden and 6-year-old daughter Taylor.
