Dump Truck Driver Uninjured In Rollover Crash That Caused Fire
The accident was Tuesday morning in Lafayette.

The driver of a dump truck walked away unscathed after the truck overturned and caught fire on a Lafayette hillside this morning, according to a fire spokesman.
The truck rolled down a hillside off of Camellia Lane around 11 a.m., according to Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Inspector Steve Aubert.

The driver was able to exit the truck before it caught fire and no injuries were reported, Aubert said.
Firefighters put out the blaze before it could spread to any surrounding vegetation. Lafayette police said Camellia Lane will be blocked for several hours today while crews remove the truck and related debris.
