Fire Roars Through Oakland Home
When firefighters arrived at the home, flames were leaping out the windows.

OAKLAND, CA — A house in the 3900 block of Midvale Avenue in Oakland was seriously damaged by fire Monday afternoon, according to Oakland Fire Department officials.
The fire was reported at 2:05 p.m. Monday in a single-story house in the Upper Dimond neighborhood between Interstate Highway 580 and state Highway 13, fire officials said.
No injuries were reported. No other information was available.
