Cos Cob Woman Is Accused of Smoking Pot Near School

A Cos Cob woman is facing drug-related charges after Greenwich Police say she was seen smoking pot in a pipe while sitting in the Bible Street Park.

The incident unfolded shortly after noon on Wednesday as “numerous children were playing in the area,” according to a police report. Police said where Griselda Reyes, 21, was located, The Cos Cob Preschool is about 172 feet away.

Reyes, of 15 Bible St., was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia

She was released on a written promise to appear April 24 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
