Bruce Museum Is Offering Free Admission
As the popular museum in downtown Greenwich changes exhibits, it's waiving admission fees for visitors.

As the popular Greenwich museum changes its exhibits, it is offering free admission to visitors.
In an announcement, the museum said, “While we say goodbye to Northern Baroque Splendor and are busy changing our exhibition space, we will be offering free admission to the Museum. Come in -- and bring your friends for free! -- to see our fascinating new science exhibition Madagascar: Ghosts of the Past, the first by our new Curator of Science, Dr. Daniel Ksepka.”

The free admission continues until May 1.
In addition to the numerous permanent exhibits, the museum also has (Re)Discovering the “New World Maps & Sea Charts from the Age of Exploration exhibition on view in the Bantle Lecture Gallery, through June 3.

And this weekend, the museum is offering the Family Studio Workshop Exploring Perspective. The program that explores the process of making fine art while using quality art-making supplies and discussing current exhibitions, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 19.
The program is appropriate for all ages and reservations aren’t necessary. The fee for this program is $7 for museum members, $15 nonmembers.
The museum is at 1 Museum Dr. Hours: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday; Doors close a half-hour before closing with last admission at 4:30 p.m. For information, log onto brucemuseum.org or call 203-869-0376.
