Young Mariners Foundation Plans 'Keeping Kids on Course' Gala
Young Mariners combines after-school educational programs for Stamford and Greenwich students.

The Young Mariners Foundation (YMF) is planning its fourth annual Keeping Kids on Course gala to benefit underserved students in Stamford and Greenwich.
The April 16 gala, which will be held at Stamford Yacht Club from 6 to 9:30 p.m., will honor Stamford Mayor David Martin and Judy Martin, founders of Starfish Connection Inc., a partner of YMF. The evening will feature cocktails, a light dinner, silent and live auctions, and live Jazz from the Paul Kemper All Stars.
Young Mariners encourages the growth and development of students in teamwork, goal setting, life and citizenship skills, and self-esteem by combining the sport of sailing with after-school educational programs. The foundation’s After-School Enrichment Program offers extracurricular learning activities focusing on science, technology, engineering, and math.
