Missing Newtown Man's Case to be Featured on Investigation Discovery's 'Disappeared'
Sandy Hook resident Robert Hoagland was last seen at 5:30 a.m. on July 28, 2013 at Mobil gas station and has been missing ever since.

NEWTOWN, CT-- The case of missing Newtown man Robert Hoagland will be featured on Disappeared TV show, according to Inquisitr.com.
The Investigation Discovery network is brining back the series after a three-year hiatus. The show focuses on unsolved missing persons cases and will feature the missing Newtown man.
According to police, Robert Hoagland, then 50, was last seen at 5:30 a.m. on July 28, 2013 at Mobil gas station. Police said he is a white male, 6’ tall weighing approximately 175 lbs. He is bald and has blue eyes. Robert was last seen wearing a white T-Shirt and khaki shorts.

Hoagland’s son was the last one to see him the morning before he went missing. Hoagland reportedly left his car, wallet, driver’s license, passport, credit cards, cell phone and the shoes he was last seen wearing, according to police. His wife was out of town when he vanished and reported him missing when didn’t pick her up from the airport as planned.
According to Newtown police, there have been several unconfirmed sightings of Hoagland in Connecticut and Rhode Island.
CBS News reported in 2013 that he may have been spotted in Southland, CA. Robert Hoagland was last seen about 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at a gas station located at 11 Church Hill Road in Newtown.
NBC Connecticut reported sightings of Hoagland at Savers in Brookfield and in Rhode Island but the leads turned up dead. Police continue to search for a Newtown resident who disappeared almost a year ago without his cellphone, wallet, shoes or blood pressure medication.
Patch reported that in July 2014 he was spotted in New York, possibly visiting someone in prison.
The family set up a "Help Us Find Hoagy" Facebook page, however it has not been set up since October of 2014.
