Reward Offered To Help Find Missing Cartersville Mom

Heather McDonald was last seen Sept. 18 at the Courtesy Inn hotel in Cartersville.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- The family of the Cartersville wife and mother who has been missing for more than a week is offering a reward for information leading to her safe return.

The reward of $2,500 will be offered to anyone who can provide information to Cartersville police that leads to the discovery of 27-year-old Heather McDonald.

"Thanks to several generous people, the reward fund is up to $2,500," a post on the Have You Seen Heather Facebook page states.

Residents can also visit haveyouseenheather.com to submit anonymous tips to help police in the case.

McDonald was last seen Sept. 18 at Courtesy Inn at 2335 U.S. 411 in Cartersville. At around 9 a.m. Sept. 19, police discovered a red Jeep Wrangler in the parking lot of the hotel.

The family notes the vehicle was unlocked, and the key was on the ground and McDonald's belongings were still inside.

McDonald is described as a white female who's 5'2'' tall, has brown hair and eyes and weighs around 100 pounds. She has no tattoos or piercings, and was last seen wearing gray and green exercise clothing.
