Sandy Springs Police Identify Man Found Dead in Vehicle

The body of Bradley Rickards was found Wednesday afternoon in a vehicle parked outside The Mosaic at Sandy Springs apartments.

Sandy Springs police have identified the man who was found dead inside a vehicle Wednesday afternoon.

Bradley Rickards was found deceased in a car parked at The Mosaic at Sandy Springs apartments, located at 5675 Roswell Road, spokesperson Sgt. Ron Momon said.

Sgt. Momon said witnesses informed police the car had been parked in the lot since last Saturday. The vehicle with the body inside was towed to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

The cause of death is unknown at this time, and autopsy results showed there was no trauma to Rickard’s body, Sgt. Momon added.

Police suspect Rickards possibly suffered a drug overdose, but Sgt. Momon said a toxicology report would need to confirm if that’s the case. That report, he added, could take several months to complete.
