Cook County Medical Examiner Releases Names of Burbank Couple Found Dead in Home

The Cook Medical Examiner’s Office released the names of the Burbank couple who were found deceased in their home late Tuesday afternoon.

Raymond Fritz, 64, and his wife, Susan, 62, were discovered by a family member around 5:30 p.m. Dec. 6 in their home in the 8500 block of South Laramie, Burbank. Police said the family member did not live at the residence.

The medical examiner ruled Raymond’s death a suicide. An autopsy conducted Tuesday indicated he had suffered a gunshot wound to the head and incised wounds to his wrist.

The cause and manner of Susan Fritz’s death is pending.
