Gordon Ramsay Steak Opens At Horseshoe Casino

The new Baltimore steakhouse owned by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay offers steak that is aged at least 28 days.

BALTIMORE, MD — Gordon Ramsay Steak is now open at the Horseshoe Casino. The new restaurant, which marks the second for the celebrity chef, welcomed its first customers Wednesday night.

Ramsay, who has hosted cooking shows such as "Hell's Kitchen," "Food Court Wars" and "MasterChef," first announced his plans to open a restaurant at the Baltimore casino in July. The steak restaurant is now open on the ground floor of the Horseshoe, off Russell Street downtown.

“I couldn’t be more pleased to introduce Gordon Ramsay Steak in Charm City,” Ramsay said in a statement on Thursday. “Baltimore is home to wonderful restaurants, and I’m thrilled to add to the culinary landscape with a concept that will offer guests the best dry-aged beef, finest seafood and freshest locally-sourced ingredients in a uniquely warm and comfortable setting.”

Gordon Ramsay Steak features prime beef that has been aged for 28 days at a minimum, American Kobe beef and the 32-ounce Royal Long-bone Chop. There are also menu items that reflect the owner's British roots, such as sticky toffee pudding and beef Wellington. An extensive wine collection and list of barrel-aged cocktails round out the offerings.

“The opening of Gordon Ramsay Steak raises the bar for fine dining in a city already known for its great restaurants," Horseshoe Baltimore General Manager and Caesars Entertainment Regional President Erin Chamberlin said in a statement. "...we’re excited to introduce this incredible concept to the millions of guests who visit us each year."

There is only one other Gordon Ramsay Steak - in Las Vegas, Nevada - making Baltimore the first city on the east coast to have a Ramsay steakhouse restaurant.

Recently, another celebrity chef announced she plans to set up shop in the Horseshoe as well. Giada De Laurentiis will open a restaurant there in 2018.
