Schools in the Hereford Zone include Fifth District Elementary, Hereford High, Hereford Middle, Jacksonville Elementary, Prettyboy Elementary, Seventh District Elementary and Sparks Elementary.

The Hereford Zone was created for the county's northernmost schools because those areas of the county tend to experience "unique weather conditions," according to Baltimore County Public Schools.
