MARYLAND — Hi there, neighbors! Patch is compiling pictures for our weekly photo story.

This week's theme is wildlife. We want to see your top animal shots from around the state.

To participate, email your best picture to maryland@patch.com with the subject line "Photo Of The Week." Participants must also include this statement in their email:

Please only submit photos that you took personally. Horizontal pictures are preferred.

Photos are due every Thursday at noon. We will post a story with a few of our favorites each Monday morning. The next photo round-up will go out on Monday, March 7.
