Horse Tangled In Fence Wiring Rescued By Firefighters, Special Ops
A horse named Eeyore became tangled in the wiring of his fence and ended up being rescued by the Level Volunteer Fire Company and Harford County Department of Emergency Services special operations team and medic unit.
Inaugural DMV Girls Try Hockey For Free Day At 8 Rinks In Maryland
In an effort to encourage more girls to hit the ice and play hockey, the Washington Capitals, MSE Foundation, PVAHA and other youth hockey organizations will be hosting the inaugural DMV Girls Try Hockey for Free Day at 14 rinks in Maryland and Virginia on Sept. 23.

Teen Rodeo Queen, Barrel Racing Champion Hails From Prince George's
Morissa Hall of Upper Marlboro, who is a 16-year-old senior at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton High School, spent her summer on the rodeo circuit. As the two-time Maryland High School rodeo queen, she became the first from Maryland to win any portion of the National High School Finals Queen Contest.
