Students Involved in 'Suicide Pact' Also Discussed Shooting Up Schools
Tewksbury Police and school officials worked to secure the situation Thursday. Officials now consulting with the DA about possible charges.

Tewksbury Police received information Thursday morning from a New Hampshire Police Department about a potential school threat that put Tewksbury High School in lockdown earlier in the day, after students in two communities were involved in an online suicide pact that included discussion of a possible school shooting.
At 9:15 a.m. Thursday morning, Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan said his department received information from the Manchester N.H. Police Department that a female Tewksbury High School student posted a comment on Facebook indicating that she wanted to “get two guns” and “make a suicide pact.” The information was provided to Manchester N.H. PD by a concerned citizen who saw the message on Facebook.
Police say a female Winthrop student responded to the “suicide pact” comment on Facebook stating, “can we shoot up schools first tho.” The Tewksbury female responded by stating, “YO lets do it.” No specific school was mentioned.
