UFO Sightings in Westford? Here's the List

Are UFOs real? That's beyond Patch's brand of locality. But there have been reports of them around town, some dating back to the 60s in the National UFO Reporting Center files.

Massachusetts residents reported more than 100 UFO sightings in 2016 alone. Westford hasn't seen one since 2013.

Here's the list of Westford sightings from the National UFO Reporting Center (some are more detailed by visiting the link above):

Nov. 28, 2013: Was driving and saw two circular unidentifies objects zooming past my field of vision. Then a few seconds later they passed by again at an abnormal speed. The only logical explanation is that they were UFO's.

Dec. 12, 2012: I was just out walking my dogs when I looked up at the sky and saw a large fireball zoom from North to South. It left a trail and was downright epic.

Aug. 28, 2010: 3 Orange Fireballs in triangle formation

July 11, 2010: Bright object in sky suddenly switched direction, faded and dissapeared. ISS went over head about 21:20 EST. Approx two minutes later another large bright light decended from a Westerly direction. It was coming toward the earth and it grew larger and brighter very quickly. So much so that I was nervous that it might strike the earth...

Aug. 15, 1967: It appeared to be a satellite until it descended over us at a low altitude and just hovered at 500 ft until it ascended and continued on ... The craft was close enough for us to see inside. Windows were visible and there appeared to be two or three long windows with a divider between the windows, a frame that I thought to be part of the outer skin of the aircraft. Inside one of the windows there appeared to be some kind of console ...
