Concord Ties Previous Lowest Snow Season Record

The 2015-2016 season has tied the previous low, according to the National Weather Service.

CONCORD, NH - Capital region residents already knew that the 2015-2016 winter season was a pretty mild one but now, we have more proof, via the National Weather Service station in Gray, ME.

Forecasters at the service station noted yesterday that this winter season has tied the previous lowest snowfall totals previously recorded for the 1979-1980 season, according to a post on Facebook.

This year, the city has seen 27 inches of snow, after receiving more than two inches for the Sunday night to Monday morning storm.

Meteorologists warn that snow has fallen in Concord during late March and early April, so more of the white stuff may hit the area before the end of the season. But for now, it's tied for the lowest on record.
