Brendan's Memorial: Community Starts Go Fund Me in Support of Deceased Child's Mother
The page had raised nearly $10,000 by Wednesday afternoon.

The community is supporting Samantha Denoto in the loss of her 3-year-old son with a Go Fund Me page.
The page, titled “Brendan’s Memorial” had raised nearly $10,000 by Wednesday afternoon.
The body of Denoto’s son, Brendan Link Cerato, was found dead on Tuesday morning by Cooper River.

A statement on the page reads as follows:
“Samantha suffered an unimaginable tragedy with the loss of Brendan. This campaign has been started to help with any and all costs associated with Brendan’s untimely passing and assisting Samantha with laying Brendan to rest.

“During this time we are looking to ease some of the burden for Samantha. If you are unable to donate please keep Samantha in your thoughts and prayers. If you are able to donate, no amount is too small.
“It is impossible to put into words what this loss means for Samantha, but it is our hope that this financial support will take away any burden that she may incur from this tragic incident, and allow her to focus on what is important at this time.”

On Wednesday, Camden County Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson Andy McNeil said the manner and cause of death were still unknown. An autopsy was conducted on Tuesday.
