DWI Checkpoint in Sea Bright Friday Night, Too

Sea Bright, NJ - Patch already told you there will be extra DWI patrols out on Rts. 35 and 36 this weekend in Hazlet, Holmdel, Middletown and Atlantic Highlands. But now we're learning there will also be extra DWI patrols out in Sea Bright Friday night, as well.

The checkpoint will run from 11 p.m. Friday through 3 a.m. Saturday on Ocean Ave. Officers from the Sea Bright police and the Monmouth County DWI task force will pull cars from the northbound lanes into the Sea Bright borough parking lot to determine driver’s sobriety, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, the coordinator of the Monmouth County DWI task force.
