Man Accused Of Stabbing Girlfriend To Death Suing NYC For $50M, Report Says
Arthur Lomando is suing the city for injuries he suffered when he allegedly jumped in front of a subway train after the killing.

The man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death in front of her Midland Park home last October is suing the New York City Transit Authority for $50 million for injuries he suffered after he allegedly jumped in front of a subway train hours after the slaying.
Lomando’s lawyer Andrew F. Plasse told The Record that his client did not jump in front of the train as authorities have said he did. Instead, Lomando claims he fell from the platform at the 168th Street subway station because he was “jostled” by people on the platform.

Plasse said in a legal paper filed with New York civil court Lomando either fell on “slippery substances” or ”was struck by falling debris on the platform,” which allegedly caused Lomando to fall, the report said.
Both of Lomando’s feet were amputated to save his life.
