'Felony Lane Gang' Member Busted In Hatfield After Manhunt

Her alleged robbery of several childcare centers is connected to a multi-state gang at the center of a high-speed police chase Tuesday.

HATFIELD, PA -- A "Felony Lane Gang" member has been arrested after a seven-day manhunt, according to reports.

Sarah Ruth Langlitz, 32, of Fort Lauderdale, is allegedly a part of the national crime group that focuses on robbery and identify theft, reports state.

She is allegedly connected to the same group that smashed into several cop cars during a police chase on Tuesday afternoon that began on Route 202 in Tredyffrin Township and ended on the Schuylkill Expressway in Philadelphia.

In total, seven gang members were arrested, including two that ran across both lanes of I-76 in an attempt to get away, and another that jumped into the Schuylkill River.

Langlitz was allegedly involved with stealing money from KinderCare on Sumneytown Pike, The Upper Gwynedd Child Learning Center on Dickerson Road and the Chesterbrook Academy, also on Dickerson Road, according to The Intelligencer.

These incidents occurred in the Lansdale area on February 19, and mark the first known intrusion of the gang into Montgomery County in 2016, according to The Reporter.

Some of the individuals involved in Tuesday's incident also have ties to Fort Lauderdale.

The Felony Lane Gang's operations are often based out of Florida, according to a task force working to disrupt their operations. Gang members head north, rent cars, and commit robberies of all kinds, including vehicle break-ins and child care thefts.

Langlitz's hearing is set for March 9.
